Found in: Deep tropical and temperate waters
Population Status: Vulnerable to Extinction (IUCN 2007)

Oceanic Whitetips give birth to live young with litter sizes of 1-15 pups. Gestation is around 12 months. Newborn pups are around 65cm long.

Their diet can include oceanic bony fish such as tuna and dolphin fish aswell as turtles, stingrays, birds gastropods, squid crustaceans and mammal carrion.
