Shark Rescue Fund (any donation amount accepted)
This fund is specifically created to save sharks that have been caught as by-catch, or targeted for fins and the aquarium trade. Over 100 sharks have been successfully rescued. Rescues have ranged from litters of new born pups stuck in seaweed farms to pregnant White Tips stuck in gill nets, even the odd shark in the back of an aquarium shop. The fund covers shark acquisitions as well as transport supplies and fees. Donations are pooled as any investment in the ocean's future is worthy.
