Choose environmentally friendly cleaning products and use less chemicals.
'Bio-accumulation' means that levels of toxins and chemicals present in lower food chain animals become more concentrated in higher food chain animals. Apex predators such as sharks accumulate the highest levels of toxins.
Avoid buying products that contain shark extracts, such as chondroitins, shark cartilage etc .
